As for Thomas, he didn't have any deer kills to report. However, he seemed to still have a great time, as usual when he is in the woods doing what he does best. =)

"I Love my family"
Well, what can I say, the title says it all. I went to Fairhope this weekend to spend some time with my family while Thomas enjoyed hunting at his farm for opening weekend of gun season. On Friday I headed South on 65 until I cruised on into the Eastern Shore. What a beautiful sight Mobile Bay is, even if it is doo-doo brown up close=). That night, my parents took me to dinner at Longhorn steakhouse. I highly recommend the sweet potato with brown sugar and cinnamon........ yummy to my tummy! On Saturday, Ashley and I met up for lunch at the best little cafe in town, Bay Breeze Cafe. (they dont have a website, or I would post the link so you can check out their menu). My favorite things are the corn and tomato bisque, along with the grown-up grilled cheese or the chicken salad with greens and balsamic. Never fails, that is what i get every time! Saturday night, mom treated me to Mexican. Once again, I got my usual.... the taco salad. Sunday after church, I packed up and headed north on 65 back to the 'ham. Not much going on, but it sure made me happy to spend some time with my family since we will be in Montgomery for Thanksgiving this year.

About Me

We are Kim and Thomas Gross. We met in 1999 at Birmingham Southern, but didn't officially start dating until after graduating from college in 2004(Kim from Auburn and Thomas from Birmingham Southern undergrad and Auburn grad). After dating for 2 years, we got engaged. YEAH!!!! Kim is from Fairhope, Al., where she lived with her parents, Margaret and John, her brother John and sister Katherine. Thomas is from Montgomery, AL., where he lived with his parents, Mary Ethel and Charlie, and 2 sisters, Mary and Ginny. Mary is married to her husband, Addam, and they have 3 adorable boys(of which you will see many pictures of on my blog). Kim and Thomas live in Birmingham, AL., where she sells real estate with a local company, and Thomas is a CPA. We have now been married for a little over 2 months, and are really enjoying getting to learn more about each other. So far, so good=)! Although we don't have any children yet, we do have a dog named Jack. He is really hyper and keeps us on our toes most of the time. This blog is a way for me to simply entertain myself and maybe even a friend or two that decide to read this. Enjoy=)
"Giving this season"
For Christmas this year, Thomas and I decided not to give each other any gifts. We have had such a blessed year and would like to be able to give back to someone else instead. We decided that we were going to get an angel tree child and make their Christmas a special one in 2008. I have had so much fun over the past few days shopping for our "angel child", and look forward to her excitement on Christmas morning. There are several places around town that you can adopt these children, but we personally went through the Salvation army. www.salvationarmyusa.org.
